Petal & Sable is an interior design studio based in San Jose, California. This policy explains what information we collect through petalandsable.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you submit the inquiry form on our contact page, we collect the information you choose to give us. That includes your name, email address, phone number, project location, the scope of work you are interested in, your budget range, your timeline, and anything you write in the message field.

Our website is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace automatically collects standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit, and the date and time of your visit. We use this only to understand how the site is being used.

How we use your information

We use what you send us to respond to your inquiry, to prepare a proposal if the project is a good fit, and to communicate with you about work we are doing together. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone outside the people working on your project.

Cookies

Squarespace sets cookies that are necessary for the site to function and, where enabled, cookies that help us see how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them may affect how parts of the site work.

Service providers

We use third party services to run the studio and the website. These include Squarespace for hosting and form handling, along with the email and file sharing tools we use in the ordinary course of business. Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry form submissions for as long as we may reasonably need them, and project records for as long as our business and tax records require. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to design@petalandsable.com and we will respond. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
