Pankhuri Sharma
Pankhuri has a background in tech, and a passion for interior design that started in childhood, rearranging the rooms of her family home. She has been noticing the small things in other people’s houses ever since, down to a wardrobe handle she still remembers.
She started with her own house, a 1969 build with good bones and very little personality. She brought vintage and modern together in it, and borrowed from European interiors for the kind of layering that makes a room feel gathered rather than bought. It was later featured in The Interior Collective.
Doing all of it with a toddler and a dog underfoot settled the question she still designs around. A home should be the best part of coming back at the end of a hard day, and it should survive the day itself.
Our Approach
The small things
Most of what you feel in a room is not the furniture. It is the handle you touch every morning, the switch by the door, the height of a shelf. We spend a disproportionate amount of time there.
Function you cannot see
Solving a practical problem should not leave a mark on the room. Storage, sound, wiring and the corner nothing fits into can nearly always disappear into something you would have wanted there anyway.
Honest scope
You will know the scope and the fee in writing before any work begins. We would rather say early that a project is not a fit than find that out together three months in.
